Very nice day hike with great views of both Fallen Leaf Lake and Lake Tahoe as well as the Sierras. Probably not suitable for smaller children. There is campground near-by.

Their Dosas (Indian-style crepes) are excellent. The Menlo Park location has good service and is child-friendly. They also have a separate room for parties and other functions.
